This type of leather is a delicate material that’s why some natural wrinkles and marks may occur.

This type of leather doesn’t need to be impregnated. However, to preserve all its qualities, we encourage you to take special care of your item.

Clean the leather using a delicate cotton cloth.

Above all, avoid contact with water. If your item gets wet, wipe the leather immediately with a soft tissue to absorb the liquid. Bad weather, humidity can damage the leather irreversibly. Try not to expose the item to rain. If you do get caught in bad weather, always dry off the item immediately after with a fresh, dry cloth or any cotton material that you have with you.

Keep the item away from any heat sources. The use of an electric dryer or other similar heat sources can damage the leather. Also, extended long-term exposure to sunlight can cause irreversible color fading.

To prolong the lifespan of the item, it’s best to store it inside its cloth sack. You may also want to stuff it to avoid deformation.

To avoid color transfer onto light materials, clean the item using a dry cotton cloth.

Avoid carrying heavy objects, as they may deform and stretch the leather.

The metal finishings might get scratched, discolored or fade with repeated use.
