Pleated ruff collar in cotton tulle, tied with Moiré ribbon. Hand-embroidered by Małgorzata Ostrowska, an artisan from the city of Żywiec in Southern Poland. Inspired by the ruff collar used in traditional Żywiec costume. Made according to the craftsmanship tenets of Żywiec embroidery, cultivated in the town for 150 years. Work on one collar takes as long as two weeks, making them one-of-a-kind and their run limited.
Moiré is a fabric finished with a technique that has ancient traditions. It is manufactured in France by a family-owned business.
