Our collection of hand-embroidered handbags is inspired by various archival embroidery motifs. It’s a project that heavily relies on historical research and aims to cultivate craftsmanship traditions.

Double-warp Weave Bag
from Podlasie

Introducing our latest product in the Chylak Heritage line: a double-warp weave bag crafted by Lucyna Kędzierska, using a distinctive local technique passed down in Poland’s Podlasie region for generations. This Podlasie tradition became the primary inspiration for our new project. I imagined a bag that would hold as many traditional Podlasie motifs as possible. — Zofia Chylak

Amber

In or explorations of various Polish themes and stories, amber has always been on the list. The Kurpie region in northeastern Poland, is where women traditionally adorned themselves with beautiful amber necklaces. They usually wore three strands of varying lengths and sizes.

When designing a bag, we focus on both its aesthetic quality and its functionality. A handbag should be elegant, beautiful, and useful.

Our handbags are made from the highest quality Italian leather, which is manufactured and embossed in Italy. We think about every detail: how the material reflects light, what is its texture and its pattern. The bags are manufactured in Poland, which helps us achieve the highest possible quality.

The shoes are handmade in Italy, in a small, family-owned workshop, where the craft was developed over many generations.The collections are released in limited series, with each bag and shoe hand-stamped with its series number.
