Fall/Winter 2023

The mountains hold a special place in my heart, since my grandparents were raised on the hillsides of the Carpathian range in Ukraine and in Poland. I wanted to show my work surrounded by their beauty. Accompanied by the sounds of the trembita, a long wooden horn, and the highlanders’ bagpipes, we watched the local head shepherd tending to his sheep grazing a large meadow. We also invited the famous “bear” from the resort town of Zakopane to participate in the shoot.
