Oversized, hand-embroidered kerchief in cotton tulle. Inspired by a shawl worn as part of the traditional outfit of the city of Żywiec in Southern Poland. Can be worn around the shoulders or as a head covering. Handmade by local artisan Małgorzata Ostrowska according to the craftsmanship tenets of traditional Żywiec embroidery, cultivated in the town for 150 years. Work on one shawl may take as long as a month, making these pieces one-of-a-kind and their run limited.
