In our latest campaign we are visiting the old world of the Lemko region in southeastern Poland. I wanted to showcase a tradition that holds a special place in my heart due to my dad’s family roots. The Lemko region is a world that doesn’t really exist anymore. I found it sealed in old, black and white photographs that were the inspiration for my Fall/Winter 2024 collection.

The leading motifs for the collection are feathers and pearls. I’ve always been fascinated with the richness and attention to detail in traditional dress, with its embroidery, its beadwork. In my latest collection I decided to combine simple handbag forms with decorative finishes.
We were very happy that the ladies from the Lemko song and dance group “Kyczera” agreed to participate in our campaign wearing traditional costumes. Special thanks to Jerzy Starzyński, the founder of the group and scholar of Lemko culture, who shared with us his archive and his knowledge of Lemko culture. In our campaign we were able to capture traditional “Chyża” cottages, elongated, colorfully painted homes of the Lemkos, very few of which remain in Poland.
