Fall/Winter 2025
Our Fall/Winter campaign transports us to the Podlasie region of northeastern Poland, home to the tradition of double warp weaving. In Podlasie, on looms that have been passed on from generation to generation, remarkably skilled artisans craft beautiful textiles. These densely patterned textiles recall contrasting python skins, which are the leading motif of our new collection. The bags’ designs are simple and classic, but they draw the eye with the leather’s contrasting embossing.

Just several decades ago double warp weaving was a common occupation in the Podlasie region. Today, only a small group of weavers cultivate the tradition – which is why it’s important to talk about it now.
We’re very grateful that the women who have for years been part of the Janów weavers’ community agreed to take part in our campaign. Our thanks go to Karolina Radulska, Ludgarda Sieńko, Alicja Kochanowska, Teresa Pryzmont and Danuta Radulska. This story is enhanced with traditional music from Podlasie by the wonderful Zdzisław Marczuk, one of the last living traditional wedding musicians in Podlasie. We are grateful to be able to witness their work and listen to their stories.
